Nat King Cole sang the definitive version of this favorite. Not to compete with that, Bob’s musical arrangement lends new harmony to the familiar melody and presents this song in the freshest way. The song begins with colorful chords shifting over a pedal bass and led by a flute in the treble. This orchestration is in part inspired by great Hollywood film scoring such as the song “Stella By Starlight” from the 1944 film The Uninvited starring Ray Milland and Gail Russell.
